Business Development Associate (Part Time, Toronto)

This is an entrepreneurial role where you’d be one of the first few people to join the team. The role is all about hustle – how to get meetings with decision makers. The role involves identifying potential customers, engaging them through different mediums and getting them to a discussion which could convert to a sale.

This is not just an inside sales role. With some experience, the expectation would be to get into sales meetings with the decision maker and get to closure.

A good thing about this role is that there is no limit to growth. Joining in at such an early stage implies you’d have infinite opportunities across functions as the company grows in Canada.

Skills needed:

  • Experience in digital marketing
  • Experience in sales (any expertise is good – inside sales, digital sales, conventional sales)
  • Persuasion skills, which is essential to get a meeting
  • Perseverance – needed to navigate the long and arduous sales cycles

Prior Experience Needed:

  • Minimum years of experience: 2 years
  • Must have: Sales experience in either technology, consulting or marketing domain
  • Good to have: Ideal experience: Sales experience for a digital or advertising agency

Location: Toronto, Canada

Compensation: By industry standards and a combination of hourly rates plus incentives on closure.
