Yash Kumar (‘Yash’) is a gifted team builder and heads operations for GenY Medium. Yash is an MBA from the Indian School of Business and a B.Tech, from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. Prior to ISB, Yash led the overall operations for Learning Links Foundations, where he was responsible for stakeholder engagement, recruitment of the local team, development of training modules and delivery of training to 800 teachers.

Yash has had important contributions in the field of education, prior to Learning Links. After his graduation from IIT Bombay, he joined Teach for India (TFI) fellowship and taught underprivileged children for 2 years in a government school in Mumbai. Apart from teaching, he led projects in curriculum development across the whole school and visited various organizations to research on the best educational practices. Post the fellowship with TFI, Yash joined Bayer where he worked on the development and commercialization of new products for the rural poor made using high quality plastics and polymers from Bayer.

Yash has a keen interest in dramatics. His plays have been staged at the reputed Prithvi Theatre in Mumbai.
